Eugen Jurzyca

Eugen Jurzyca (born 8 February 1958) is a Slovak politician. During the period of Iveta Radičová government (8 July 2010 – 4 April 2012) served as the Minister of Education of Slovakia. He is the recipient of the Order of Ludovít Štúr of the second class, awarded in 2005 by the President of Slovakia. In February 2012, one month before the parliamentary election, Jurzyca became a member of Slovak Democratic and Christian Union – Democratic Party (SDKÚ-DS). ==Biography==
From 1984 to 1987, Jurzyca was a member of the Czechoslovak Football Commission. In 1993, he trained at the United States Department of Justice Antitrust Division, the Federal Trade Commission and the World Bank.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Eugen Jurzyca )〕 He was later a member of the panel at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development in Kiev, Ukraine and at the European Commission "Baltic Booster Conference". In 1996 and 1997, Jurzyca was a panel member at OECD seminars for competition in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Kiev and Istanbul, Turkey. From 1998 to 1999, he was a member of the faculty at the University of Economics in Bratislava, his alma mater, and the Comenius University in Bratislava. Later positions include serving as consultant for the World Bank and a member of the Government Economic Council.
Jurzyca was elected to the National Council of the Slovak Republic. Soon after, he was selected to be Minister of Education.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Eugen Jurzyca )
